The hotel has a charming, vintage vibe and friendly staff, but my room was unusually cold without climate control and had a tiny safe unsuitable for my laptop. While the location is great, early morning renovations were quite disruptive. Overall, it’s a unique boutique experience with minor issues.

During my stay, the heating system didn’t work properly, leaving the room uncomfortably warm, especially at night. WiFi was reliable, but the TV service lacked HD quality, which was disappointing. Breakfast offered limited options, and there were issues with advance bookings for the restaurant, making arrangements a hassle. A coffee bar in the lobby had free coffee but charged for cookies. a bit petty for the price range here.

We spent 5 nights here and the room was cozy, though smaller than we expected. Loved the free coffee in the lobby every morning! Check-in was a bit awkward since nobody was at the front door. Also, getting breakfast reservations felt weird and limited. Overall, the location was a win since we could easily explore nearby attractions.

We loved the charming old chic style and the cozy design throughout the hotel. The location was great and there was this amazing Indian guy at the front desk who was just superb in helping us.

It wasn’t cheap but still acceptable for what we experienced.

The breakfast spread was a delightful wake-up call—think fresh croissants and hearty scrambled eggs! Plus, the location is pretty sweet, just a hop away from Union Square, with a bunch of great eateries like Uncle Vito's Pizzeria and Scala's Bistro to satisfy your cravings.

We expected a more charming café vibe for breakfast but got a basic spread instead. The lift had a mind of its own, making our trek a bit of a hassle, and honestly, the front desk team could've shown a little more warmth when we arrived.

We had an amazing stay with our group of friends! The hotel was charming and the service was top-notch. We enjoyed unlimited rides on Muni streetcars and explored Fisherman’s Wharf and Chinatown, which were both a short walk away. Don't miss the delightful continental breakfast!

The only downside was that the elevator wasn’t working during our stay, which was inconvenient for lugging our bags up to the room.

Charming hotel, great location, as I enjoyed the beautifully decorated rooms and a fresh breakfast included in the stay. It’s only a 20-minute walk from the F Market Street Car for easy access to attractions.
